[The Sarasota Chess Club is a new idea to have an actual club with membership dues to cover purchase of equipment and rental of a playing/meeting space.  The club will sponsor official USCF tournaments, chess instruction, and tournaments that are more frequent than the three events per school year that Suncoast Chess currently organizes.  Click here for a recent article that appeared in the Sarasota Observer.]
